For more than 30 years, The Symposium Office has run world-leading medical conferences that share the latest scientific developments and best practice within obstetrics and gynaecology, neonatology, and paediatrics, including events presenting the latest in imaging technology. The Symposium Office is part of Genesis Research Trust, which has funded over four decades of scientific research into fertility and baby loss. Attending a Symposium Office conference also supports this mission.

Prof Robert Winston

Founded and chaired by IVF pioneer, Professor Robert Winston, Genesis Research Trust advances research to progress the understanding of miscarriage, stillbirth, preterm birth, and reproductive cancers. Trustees of the charity include leaders in these fields, such as Professors Phillip Bennett and Stephen Franks. A key achievement of the charity was to fund the building of the Institute of Reproductive and Developmental Biology (IRDB) Building, which was completed in 2000 and donated to Imperial College London.
