This is a two-day course with a combination of theory and practical sessions based on three modules:

Module 1 – Neonatal lung ultrasound scan – basics and advanced
Module 2 – Neonatal central line and endotracheal tube ultrasound scans
Module 3 – Neonatal basic heart ultrasound scan and functional assessment
Learn how ultrasound can be used to identify lung pathology, endotracheal tube position, aid central line insertion, and basic cardiac functional assessment

Dates:

7th November – lecture and assessments (QCCH Seminar room)

8th November – lecture and hands on demonstration (QCCH ITU/SCBU/OPC) Logbook assessment and final sign off
