Tom Bourne picThe day is chaired by Professor Tom Bourne, President of the International Society for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Chair in Gynaecology, Imperial College London and Honorary Consultant Gynaecologist, Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital.

Prof Bourne will present how to classify adnexal masses.

The Gynaecology talks run from 09:00 to 17:30 on Thursday 19th May 2022. Presentations include:
Daniela Fischerova
Prof Daniela Fischerova, Charles University in Prague, will discuss the use of ultrasound to assess ovarian malignancy.

Chiara Landolfo
Ms Chiara Landolfo, Imperial College London NHS Trust, will explain how IOTA terms classify an ovarian mass, and ovarian pathology

Prof Thierry Van den Bosch, KU Leuven, will talk about endometrial pathology, using ultrasound contrast (HyCoSy) and gel.
Antonia Testa
Prof Antonia Testa, Gemelli University Hospital, will discuss assessing endometrial and cervical cancer.

Prof Dirk Timmerman
Prof Dirk Timmerman, Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, KU Leuven will outline myometrial pathology: adenomyosis, fibroids and sarcoma.
